What is happening this month in Frankston? Quite a bit…as always it seems! The month kicked off with the
Feast at Frankston Waterfront which looked absolutely delicious!
What a fab pic from
Smiths Holiday Road! So, what else is on????
This Saturday 11th March, head to the Frankston Makers Market at the Frankston Basketball Stadium. From 9am-2pm, this gorgeous market is filled with an amazing curation of stalls inside from clothing to candles to cakes and everything in between! Plus plenty of food options outside in the carpark to keep you going!
Kids Fun Run with K163, kiddies aged 3-12 will run alongside the historic K163 train for 1.2km raising money for Frankston Hospital. Sunday 19th March from 10-1pm. Ok, so technically not Frankston but it’s for our Hospital so had to include it!
Just one of the many awesome things at the Arts Centre this month…Beatlemania is an awesome show that is sure to draw a big crowd. There are still a few tickets remaining if you want to jump in the Yellow Submarine with Eleanor Rigby and head Back To The USSR!!!
Also on at the Arts Centre, Friday 17th March 11am & 7pm, this show will make for a fab family outing especially for fans of David Williams the author of the book on which this play is based. If we didn’t already have plans, we would so be there!
The Ventana Street Festival takes over Wells Street this Saturday (11th March). There is plenty for everybody to enjoy! A parade at 12noon, cooking demos and food tastings, food trucks, craft stalls, sporting demos, performances and dancing. Immerse yourself in all that is Latin America, Portuguese and Spanish culture!
Happening at the gorg shop Dorothy Bills this Saturday 11th, a Pom Pom Workshop for adults & children 8+. 3 sessions available; 10am, 11am & 1pm, $15. Learn how to make pom poms and take home all you can create in the session! Eleesa has also started up The Dot Spot, a creative club from 10.30-1.30pm where you can drop by, hang out with fellow creatives, do your crafty thang or watch those who do! Pop over to the Dorothy Bills fb page for more info.
The announcement of this the other day had me all sorts excited. Emu Plains Market was my mum’s fave market to go to and the EPM peeps have just launched Little Beauty Market bringing the fabulousness of EPM to Beauty Park in Frankston beginning March 25th which is also mum’s birthday, altogether very poetic and means I will be there the second it opens! Cannot wait!
Kingsley Park Primary School Fair Friday 17th March 2.30pm-7.30pm Make sure you pop over to their page to check out the ride wristband package options so you aren’t caught out on the day not knowing what to get! Looks like there will be heaps happening for the small peeps and maybe the big ones too!!!
So much happening this Saturday, pencil in a busy day! At least we have a long weekend to recover! Am so very excited about the Little Beauty Market though which is right near us, as in walking distance! Frankston is turning into the place to be for markets!!!!
